Spektrum Agribusiness is led by Elise and Steve Petty who are highly experienced rural business development experts. They are supported by a team of trusted consultants who are sourced for projects as required.
The Spektrum Agribusiness team has extensive experience which offers an expert and objective understanding of business issues, opportunities and strategies. We have strong relationships and networks at local, regional, national, international, community, indigenous, corporate and government levels.
Our team has a broad range of skills including, strategic management, stakeholder management, marketing & sales, communication, business planning, agricultural development, production and processing skills, environmental management, research program management, industrial development and general project management.
Dr Steve Petty
Steve has 32 years’ experience in the northern pastoral and agricultural industries focused on efficient and profitable business management, business development as well as the implementation of innovative technology in rural production systems. Steve has skills and experience in project management, rural, agricultural and pastoral development.
In addition to Steve’s practical knowledge, he has developed and managed world class research and development projects in Northern Australia. Steve has a PhD, is an Associate Professor with the University of Queensland and is linked to many key industry groups. Steve uses his technical and scientific knowledge to build practical and sustainable solutions for businesses in rural Australia.
Elise Petty
Elise has worked in a range of senior corporate roles before co-founding Spektrum Agribusiness. With a strong background in community and industry development, business advisory services, regional engagement, marketing, business and regional development, project management and grant writing. Elise has proven skills in leadership and stakeholder engagement and the ability to forge collaborative business and community relationships to enable the achievement of exceptional outcomes.
Elise has more than 20 years of experience, working in and with private business, communities, indigenous corporations, corporate organisations and government agencies.
